Today, August 18, 2022 marks the bronze (8th) anniversary of TGServices, Inc. Though not yet out of the woods, the world is now slowly opening its door to celebrations as it slowly recovers from the global health crisis. Jubilantly, after 2 years of the pandemic lockdown, TGSI is finally celebrating this momentous milestone to reflect on the past, revel on the present and, more importantly, focus on the future. It also honors employees who have been with the company through all these years despite all the challenges.
TGServices, Inc. started with just a handful of employees and clients, with very limited amount of resources. Since then, TGSI has trekked a long and evolutionary journey. The changes over the last 8 years resulted from great efforts, hard work, extensive learnings and experiences, intensive focus on customer services, and following sustainable approaches. Heralding this year, as testimony of its commitment of providing quality services, TGSI painstakingly worked on and gained its ISO 9001:2015 Certification on April 2, 2022 amidst the ordeal of the pandemic. All these combined to give TGSI the recognition as a professional company.
Starting with millions of dreams, hopes and immense enthusiasm, TGSI is now proud to claim that all its efforts have not gone to naught. TGSI has grown exponentially, in number of clients, employees and geographical presence.
On this very day, we, TGSI Family, celebrate another milestone with gratitude and triumph. Cleanliness and orderliness are the basic tenet of TGServices, Inc. (TGSI). We believe that health and cleanliness go hand in hand like bread and butter. Similarly, cleanliness and orderliness encourage good hygiene and beget good health. Being a company that provides various services on facilities management, it is essential, a duty and responsibility of all TGSI employees to maintain high level of cleanliness.
Recently, our client (a powerplant in Dumaguete City) commended our team for keeping their power generation facility clean and in order. The commendation was the result of the inspection conducted by the client’s Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Consultant and Technical Services, who duly recognized the notable improvements in the client facility and environment.
Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in an area, much more in a facility where thousands of people pass through daily, can be a difficult and tiring work. But that did not stop our team in ensuring a clean working environment. Instead, they worked relentlessly and went the extra mile in doing their duty.
Subsequently, this commendation is an incentive that: (a) inspires our team to love their job; (b) draws respect from others for our employees’ dependability; (c) provides happy and peaceful ambiance; and (d) motivates others on the importance of maintaining a clean, orderly, safe and pleasing workplace. Additionally, this reaffirms the trust of our client for a continuous engagement and partnership.

A BIT OF HISTORY
TGServices,Inc. was conceived and duly registered with The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on August 18, 2014 and with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) under DO 174-17 as a legitimate service contractor.
We went into full operation on January 2015, with 350 employees deployed to 10 clients and 10 support personnel holding office at 5th Floor TGHC Building, K1 Road, Kamuning, Quezon City.
As we continue to grow to more than 1000 deployed employees servicing 50 clients, TGSI Head Office had to move again in 2017 to L&I Building in Samar Ave., Quezon City.
Also in 2019, we opened satellite offices in Batangas, Sucat, Paranaque and Cebu to serve our employees and clients near their locations, and to explore other opportunities far and wide.
With our lease contract expiring in 2020, TGSI sadly had again to look for a place for its Head Office and found a new house at 82 Scout Gandia, Barangay Laging Handa Quezon City. However, renovation of the place was halted due to ECQ and resumed slowly when it was lifted. Now, due to pandemic restrictions, a few of us have been reporting our offices at intervals.
TGSI NOW ON ITS 7TH YEAR
TGSI has been growing exponentially since its inception. From 350 deployed employees, 10 clients and 10 support staff, TGSI now has over 2000 employees deployed to 65 clients with a lean back-office support of 55 personnel.
With continuously improving and expanding services, our company has gained the trust of our clients who also helped promote the company. Without advertising, but only through “word of mouth” and referrals, our company time and again is invited to propose and join bids to offer our various services. Adding to our traditional portfolio, TGSI now offers other services, such as disinfection and facilities management.
TGSI is present all over the country, up north in Nueva Ecija and down south in Visayas and Mindanao.
Last year (2020), the world seemed to have stopped due to the COVID-19 outbreak which threw the Philippines and worldwide into a pandemic state. The pandemic had a huge impact on the lives of all employees and the business operations due to safety protocols implemented nationwide to contain and prevent the virus from harming us. But still, TGServices continued to deliver our services. Everyone in the company worked together to adjust and adapt with the new normal and followed every protocol to ensure the safety of each other.
Now we are on our 7th year and we are still continuing to help each other become the very best person each of us can be, developing the work attitude to become the embodiment of our company’s service brand: “Tapat at Ganap na Serbisyo” (Honest and Efficient Service).
A GLIMPSE OF THE FUTURE
We hope that TGSI, in its new and permanent home, will continue to expand in numbers and reach, implanting a sturdy foothold in our current industry. We currently have several prospective businesses in the pipeline which we hope will soon materialize again. We continue to look brightly into the future, moving forward to more years of growth for our company and for us.

News Title: TGSI Goes For “Herd Immunity”
As the pandemic continues and the series of COVID cases continue to rise, TGServices also continues to support the country in our own way by implementing and following COVID & Safety protocols to minimize the risk of virus transmission while continuing our duties of providing services. TGSI supports the goal of the country in accomplishing the “herd immunity” of all citizens and those visiting the country.
Currently, in collaboration with the Local Government Units (LGU) and our clients, together with the company’s initiative, our company strives in providing vaccination to all our employees to decrease the number of COVID Cases. TGSI participated in the Vaccination Program of our client, First Philippine Holdings (FPH), which offered vaccination to employees and even contractors. With this program almost all our employees, even household members, are accommodated and vaccinated in the different locations. By now and continuously, 90% of our 2,000+ employees will already be vaccinated with the help of the LGU’s, FPH, and the concerted effort of our QESH Team and Operations.
Up until now we are still working on getting everyone vaccinated, not only for their own safety but for our families, friends, and the people around us. With this program, we will soon be a step closer in going back to our regular lives, without the masks & face shields, enabling activities we were not able to do when the pandemic hit us.
Walk for the Heart
News Title: Walk for the Heart
“Walk for the Heart” is a health program for TGSI employees to promote healthy activity at home and at work during this pandemic. The company realized that the daily demands of life and work prevent a healthy lifestyle. Although it is quite a challenge, TGSI still launched this program to encourage employees to take a break from work and do some cardio activity by walking. Employees are grouped into teams to encourage each other and have camaraderie while aiming for individual and group targets. The Steps-App program in mobile phones is used to register and monitor the steps. The program has been running since February and is still continuing. Employee testimonies attest to the success of the program, besides the enjoyment experienced.
