A BIT OF HISTORY
TGServices,Inc. was conceived and duly registered with The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on August 18, 2014 and with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) under DO 174-17 as a legitimate service contractor.
We went into full operation on January 2015, with 350 employees deployed to 10 clients and 10 support personnel holding office at 5th Floor TGHC Building, K1 Road, Kamuning, Quezon City.
As we continue to grow to more than 1000 deployed employees servicing 50 clients, TGSI Head Office had to move again in 2017 to L&I Building in Samar Ave., Quezon City.
Also in 2019, we opened satellite offices in Batangas, Sucat, Paranaque and Cebu to serve our employees and clients near their locations, and to explore other opportunities far and wide.
With our lease contract expiring in 2020, TGSI sadly had again to look for a place for its Head Office and found a new house at 82 Scout Gandia, Barangay Laging Handa Quezon City. However, renovation of the place was halted due to ECQ and resumed slowly when it was lifted. Now, due to pandemic restrictions, a few of us have been reporting our offices at intervals.
TGSI NOW ON ITS 7TH YEAR
TGSI has been growing exponentially since its inception. From 350 deployed employees, 10 clients and 10 support staff, TGSI now has over 2000 employees deployed to 65 clients with a lean back-office support of 55 personnel.
With continuously improving and expanding services, our company has gained the trust of our clients who also helped promote the company. Without advertising, but only through “word of mouth” and referrals, our company time and again is invited to propose and join bids to offer our various services. Adding to our traditional portfolio, TGSI now offers other services, such as disinfection and facilities management.
TGSI is present all over the country, up north in Nueva Ecija and down south in Visayas and Mindanao.
Last year (2020), the world seemed to have stopped due to the COVID-19 outbreak which threw the Philippines and worldwide into a pandemic state. The pandemic had a huge impact on the lives of all employees and the business operations due to safety protocols implemented nationwide to contain and prevent the virus from harming us. But still, TGServices continued to deliver our services. Everyone in the company worked together to adjust and adapt with the new normal and followed every protocol to ensure the safety of each other.
Now we are on our 7th year and we are still continuing to help each other become the very best person each of us can be, developing the work attitude to become the embodiment of our company’s service brand: “Tapat at Ganap na Serbisyo” (Honest and Efficient Service).
A GLIMPSE OF THE FUTURE
We hope that TGSI, in its new and permanent home, will continue to expand in numbers and reach, implanting a sturdy foothold in our current industry. We currently have several prospective businesses in the pipeline which we hope will soon materialize again. We continue to look brightly into the future, moving forward to more years of growth for our company and for us.
